The next letter of the Aramaic Alphabet is Taw. Here are the key facts about Taw:

  • Taw is pronounced with a hard 'th' sound (like this or that) if it has a dot inside it, or a soft 'th' sound (like thick or thin) if there is no dot. In Israel today, it is always pronounced with a 't' sound.
  • It has the Gematria (numerical value) of 400.
