In this lesson we compare the text of the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament with the text of the Greek New Testament. In particular, we look at Luke 13:24.

We discover that this verse provides clear evidence that the Aramaic Peshitta came first, and the Greek New Testament was translated from the Aramaic Peshitta. This explains the otherwise strange variations found in the Greek of this verse.

This is one of a series of related lessons comparing the Aramaic Peshitta with the Greek.
