Comparison Between the Aramaic Peshitta, Greek & Old Syriac Gospels
During discussions about Aramaic, the question regularly comes up which text is the most reliable, between the Aramaic Peshitta, the Greek New Testament, and the so-called "Old Syriac" Gospels.
This exclusive book seeks to answer that question for good and all. For the four Gospels, the Scrivener Greek New Testament is displayed alongside the Peshitta New Testament, next to the so-called "Old Syriac" Gospels (the Curetonian and Sinaiticus Manuscripts).
This is a specialist book which will be of extreme interest to a number of people. As such, for a limited time, we have decided to make it available as a free download in PDF format below.
Differences between the Peshitta and the Old Syriac Gospels are displayed in yellow, and differences between the two Old Syriac Manuscripts themselves are displayed in green. (Obviously, the Printed Edition of this book has had to be printed in full color, making it more expensive that we would have liked).
However, for those who can at least read the Aramaic Alphabet, a careful verse-by-verse and word-for-word comparison of the differences (shown in yellow and green highlighting) shows that the so-called "Old Syriac" text is full of spelling mistakes and many other problems. They are not even consistent between themselves. The Greek text allows many other comparisons to be made between the Greek and Aramaic texts of the Gospels, making this book an incredibly useful resource.

For those able to follow along, this book demonstrates that the Aramaic Peshitta text stands head and shoulders above its rivals. It is a monument and testimonial to how the Word of God has been preserved for the past two thousand years, down through time, for this generation, in these latter days.
